| Cody Fanning named Doane College’s Top Defensive Scout |

After the 2009 football season wrapped up at Doane College, Cody Fanning’s teammates voted him the Defensive Scout of the Year award. Fanning is a freshman linebacker for Doane and is a 2009 graduate of Wauneta-Palisade. Doane finished the season 4-7 overall and 4-6 in the GPAC conference. Coach Matt Franzen presented Fanning with the award in early December.
