Chase County went 0-4 at home last week, ruining both Wauneta-Palisade girls teams’ undefeated records and handing the boys’ teams another loss.

In the girls B team game, Chase County squeaked out a very slim 16-14 win. 

Brianna Einspahr scored 11 points for the Broncos. Hannah Nordhausen added two points and Nicole Strand had one point.

The B team boys lost a 14-6 decision to Chase County, with Lorenzo Cavanaugh scoring all of the Broncos’ points in the game.

In A team girls action, Chase County pulled off a 22-15 win. Tailor Lee and Brooklyn Nordhausen led the Broncos with six points each. Abbie Fanning added two points and Hannah Nordhausen hit a free throw for one point.

The A team boys were defeated, 45-22. Wes Anderjaska led with seven points and Hayden Pollmann added six. Other scorers were Landon Jutten with four, James Martin with three, and Tyrel Kerchal with two.
