Wauneta-Palisade athletes, coaches and fans are getting ready to kick it into overdrive as the basketball and wrestling seasons hit a marathon stretch. For the Bronco basketball teams, conference tourney time is at hand as the week-long RPAC tournament gets rolling Saturday. Tourney brackets can be found inside on page 8. The WP/HC wrestlers travel to Southwest High School Friday for the RPAC Invite, ahead of back-to-back meets at Medicine Valley on Jan. 29, and at Arapahoe on Jan. 30. The Bronco Boosters are also getting ready to host the junior high basketball tournament also slated for Jan. 30.
