Wauneta team wins 3-Man Scramble PDF Print E-mail

The team of Matt Klima, Lee Denker and Joe Johnston, all of Wauneta, topped a field of 30 other teams to win the 3-Man Scramble, sponsored by the Frenchman Valley Mutual Aid. The scramble was held at the Enders Lake Golf Course Sunday, June 2.

The Klima, Denker, Johnston team carded a 61 to win by three over the team of Cox, Nelson and Baker. A Denker, Denker, Nordhausen team, also of Wauneta, was one stroke back at 65 in third.

1. Matt Klima, Lee Denker, Joe Johnston, 32-29=61. 2. Phil Cox, Nelson, Tyler Baker, 32-32=64; 3. Ken Denker, Kerry Denker, Harold Nordhausen, 33-32=65.
