Several options for immunizations in area

The Southwest Nebraska Public Health Department (SWNPHD), which serves Chase County, will be offering vaccines for children at several area public clinics in May
    Curtis—Monday,  June 11, 3:30 p.m. MT/4:30 p.m. CT to 4:30 p.m. MT/5:30 p.m. CT at Medicine Valley High School
    McCook—daily, 7 a.m. MT/8 a.m. CT to 3 p.m. MT/4 p.m. CT at 404 West 10th Street
    Anyone two months and older is invited to get their vaccinations at the SWNPHD clinics, said Melissa Propp, RN with the health department. Walk-ins also welcome.  Travel shots are also available.  
    Call the office to get additional information regarding the travel shots, Propp said.
    Persons with no insurance or under-insured may qualify for the state-funded vaccine.  Call the office for qualifications at 308-345-4223.
