    Shad and Nicole Wiese went to Benkelman on Sunday to visit Nicole’s sister, Kiley.
    Mary and Keith Gage went to Kearney Monday and visited wth Rodger and Colleen Gage.
    Jerry and  Trudy Skelton were Wednesday afternoon callers at the John Lewis home.
    Kathy Barger and Laura attended the Class of 2008 senior supper at the Hamlet Union Church on Monday evening.
    Ethel Louch, Doris Ough and pastor Judy went to Stratton on Saturday for a United Methodist Church meeting and lunch.

    Seniors Kim Brunkhorst and Derek Sandman were chosen as this year’s prom royalty at the junior-senior prom.
    Deb Eskew of Danbury became Wauneta’s new postmaster during instalation ceremonies on Thursday.
    Carey Harrison visited Wilma Keiser on Saturday evening.
    Dixi Travis spent Saturday overnight with Christine Nordhausen. Dixi took her parents Ted and Sharon  out for breakfast on Mother’s Day.
    Leland and Sharon Maris visited Mary Kerchal in Imperial on Mother’s Day.
    Kristi Kitt ran her best 800 and 1,600 of the season, winning both events. She ran a season best in the 400, but still finished third in a fast field.
